Health and Safety Measures

Barre For Life wants to keep our clients, team, and community healthy!

Our studio’s health and safety guidelines follow the requirements and recommendations of the CDC and of our local government. We will constantly keep abreast of any developments and will continue to adjust our studio’s protocols and practices based on the most up-to-date CDC recommendations.

  • Masks are presently optional in the studio. However, if you are immunocompromised or have recently been exposed to someone with COVID-19 please consider masking.
  • All bookings will be done online and check-in will be contactless.
  • When you register for Barre For Life classes and events you will be required to sign a waiver and an acknowledgement that you have read and agree to abide by, our safety policies and protocols. Any client that presents to the studio is attesting that he or she is not showing any signs of COVID-19 (or other illness), has not been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the past 10 days, and is not presently under quarantine orders.
  • Common area seating will be limited and will be disinfected often.
  • Class size will be limited in order to allow for plenty of space between clients.
  • Disinfected equipment will be pre-arranged and staged for clients before class. After class, clients will wipe down their equipment and leave it in place. Barre For Life staff will complete the cleaning/ disinfecting process. Clients may bring their own mat if they wish.
  • The studio and all equipment will be cleaned and disinfected regularly using non-hazardous products that are on the EPA’s list N: Disinfectants for use against SARS-COV-2.
  • Whenever possible, the studio’s main door will remain open to allow for increased ventilation.
  • Our studio is equipped with a state-of-the-art central AirScrubber that kills germs both in the air and on surfaces.
  • Hand sanitizer stations will be readily available for client and team member use. Clients are asked to sanitize hands before class and before leaving the studio.
  • Any client diagnosed with COVID-19 is asked not to attend class until at least 10 days after diagnosis.
